1. Overview

Leadsberg provides tools that help users search, save, manage, and export local business lead information for outreach and prospecting workflows. This Privacy Policy applies to the Leadsberg website, application, dashboard, and related services.

By using Leadsberg, creating an account, submitting a form, or accessing our services, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Important information: Leadsberg is designed for business prospecting and outreach workflows. Users are responsible for using saved, exported, or contacted lead data lawfully and respectfully, including following applicable privacy, email, phone, messaging, and anti-spam rules in their region.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Leadsberg, we may collect the following types of information:

  • Account information such as name, email address, login details, plan details, and account preferences.
  • Billing or subscription information processed through our payment provider.
  • Usage information such as searches performed, saved leads, contact scans, exports, dashboard actions, and feature usage.
  • Technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages viewed, and approximate location.
  • Messages or support requests you send through contact forms, email, or support channels.
  • If you connect a Google account, Google account identifiers, OAuth authentication tokens, outgoing email content and attachments you choose to send, and limited delivery-related metadata.

3. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to operate, improve, and protect Leadsberg. This may include:

  • Creating and managing user accounts.
  • Providing access to lead search, saved leads, exports, contact scans, outreach tools, and dashboard features.
  • Processing subscriptions, payments, billing, plan limits, and account access.
  • Responding to support, sales, billing, and product enquiries.
  • Improving product performance, user experience, security, and reliability.
  • Sending important service updates, account notifications, billing notices, or policy changes.
  • Connecting a user-selected Gmail account and sending emails that the user creates, approves, or initiates through Leadsberg.

4. Google API and Gmail Data

Leadsberg allows users to connect their own Google account and send emails they create, approve, or initiate inside Leadsberg. Connecting Gmail is optional. For this feature, Leadsberg requests the minimum Gmail permission required to send email: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send. Leadsberg may also request basic Google sign-in information, such as your email address and basic account identity, to identify the connected account.

When you connect Gmail, Leadsberg may access or process the following Google user data only as needed to provide the Gmail sending feature:

  • Your Google email address and basic account identifier.
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens used to maintain the connection you authorize.
  • The recipient, subject, body, and attachments of outgoing emails that you choose to send.
  • Limited sending information such as provider message identifiers, timestamps, delivery status, and error details needed to display results, maintain records, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service.

Leadsberg uses this information only to connect the Google account you select, send user-directed emails, show connection and sending status, maintain relevant outreach records, troubleshoot the integration, and keep the service secure. The Gmail sending permission does not give Leadsberg permission to read your Gmail inbox, read your existing email history, delete emails, manage your mailbox, access Google Contacts, or access Google Drive.

Leadsberg does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to build advertising profiles. Google user data is shared only with Google/Gmail to perform actions you request, with service providers strictly as necessary to operate and secure Leadsberg, or when disclosure is required by law. We do not permit service providers to use Google user data for their own advertising purposes.

OAuth tokens are transmitted using secure connections and, when stored, are protected using encryption at rest. Tokens are retained only while needed to maintain the Gmail connection. You can disconnect Gmail inside Leadsberg, revoke Leadsberg's access from your Google Account permissions, or request deletion through our Contact page. When access is disconnected or revoked, Leadsberg stops using the authorization and deletes or renders the related tokens unusable, subject to limited security logs and backup-retention periods.

Leadsberg's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Lead Data and Business Information

Leadsberg may display business information such as business names, categories, websites, phone numbers, ratings, reviews, addresses, and Google Maps links when such information is available from public listings, third-party sources, or business data providers.

We do not guarantee that lead data is complete, current, accurate, or available for every business. Users should review lead information before using it for outreach, sales, or business decisions.

Users are responsible for how they use exported or saved lead data, including compliance with all applicable privacy, email, phone, messaging, and anti-spam laws.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Leadsberg may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, and similar technologies to understand website usage, remember preferences, improve performance, protect accounts, and support product functionality.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

7. Sharing Information

We do not sell your personal account information. We may share limited information only when necessary to operate, secure, support, or improve Leadsberg.

  • With hosting, infrastructure, analytics, email, security, support, or payment service providers.
  • When required to process billing, account access, support requests, or product functionality.
  • When required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, security protection, or enforcement of our Terms of Service.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect user information. However, no online platform can guarantee complete security.

Users should use strong passwords, protect login access, avoid sharing account credentials, and notify us if they believe their account has been accessed without permission.

9. Your Choices

You may be able to access, update, or delete certain account information from your Leadsberg dashboard. You may also contact us if you have questions about account data, privacy choices, or deletion requests.

  • You can update account details from your dashboard when available.
  • You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails when an unsubscribe option is provided.
  • You can contact us for privacy-related questions or account deletion requests.
  • You can disconnect a connected Gmail account in Leadsberg or revoke access through your Google Account permissions.

10. Data Retention

We may retain account, billing, usage, support, and service-related information for as long as needed to provide Leadsberg, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

Some information may remain in backups, logs, billing records, or security records for a limited period even after account changes or deletion requests.

Google OAuth tokens are retained only while necessary to maintain an authorized Gmail connection and are deleted or rendered unusable after disconnection, revocation, or account deletion, subject to limited backup and security-log retention. Outgoing email records and related delivery metadata may be retained as part of the user's outreach history until deleted by the user, the account is deleted, or retention is no longer necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, we may update the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use of Leadsberg after changes means you accept the updated policy.
